  • Marmaris Holidays in Turkey

It is truly said the Marmaris is the Jewel of Turkey. It is one of the multi faceted and most sophisticated holiday resort in Turkey. This beautiful, historical bay resort is quite well known for its cosmopolitan atmosphere and yachting.

We booked a summer holiday package to Marmaris and can proudly say that it was our great holiday ever. There are various glorious old parts of castles and harbor in the western region of the city. During summers, the local bazaar or the, market is full of cheap clothes and other commodities. All restaurants’ menu mainly comprised of chips and fishes along with beer.

Marmaris has a beautiful landscape where hills are covered with pine trees and coastline is dotted with many rocky coves and islets. In order to explore the coast in a better way, we took a trip in Turkish Gulet, which is a traditional wooden sailing boat in Turkey. Strolling across the streets, sandy beach, shops, bars and restaurants is what we enjoyed the most. There are many arrangements for those who love adventure; there are various water sport activities available for them.

We also took day trips to the famous Greek island of Rhodes, Icmeler resort which is much greener than Marmaris and also has wide sandy beaches, trips to Pamukkale and Ephesus and also to Dalyan. Transfer to all these destinations hardly takes one hour approximately from the Dalaman airport.

With numerous historical sites, monuments, castles, restaurants, bars and other sources of entertainment as available in Marmaris, we didn’t get a single chance to get bored there. I can recommend Marmaris Holidays to holidaymakers. Recommended sites: Wiki Marmaris , Turkey Marmaris

  • Christmas Holidays in Porto Rico

A Christmas holiday in Puerto Rico is the best option for Brits who are looking forward to spend a sunny and a traditional Christmas. On reaching Puerto Rico, we were headed towards San Juan. First day was spent in getting acquainted and for dinner we went to Fortaleza Street, old San Juan. There are good restaurants providing delicious food. After dinner, we decided to take a stroll along this old city and we enjoyed our walk on cobblestone streets. So we decided to explore this city the next day.

Old San Juan has tempting and excellent shops and restaurants, which would attract any visitor. For lunch we headed to El Picoteo and tried Spanish tapas. On our trip we enjoyed the splendid Raíces Fountain, Botanical Garden in Hato Rey and Puerto Rican Museum of Art.

There are popular beaches such as Isla Verde and Condado Beaches where we spend our Christmas mornings stretching on the glittering sand.

We explored Puerto Rico’s two popular landmarks which include Arecibo Telescope and the Camuy Caves. This cave has an underground river running and the vegetation, stalactites and stalagmites flourishing in this cave are worth the admiration. I would definitely suggest you to visit this cave, if you are planning a trip to this beautiful and wonderful island.

The Christmas is celebrated with a great joy in this island and we experienced varied style of Christmas being celebrated here. This is because of the cultural blend of French, British, African, Spanish and Dutch cultures and traditions. For dinner on Christmas Eve, we decided to sample the traditional Puerto Rican La Navidad which means rice pudding, roasted pork, coconut pudding and rum and more food items.

Spending Christmas holidays in this Caribbean island was like what we wanted our Exotic Christmas vacations to be.

Many tourists choose this beach for relaxing and listening music and bring their own eating and drinking supplies.

We have been to Dubai earlier. We were able to explore this city’s popular and modern attractions. We had enjoyed our trip in Wild Wadi Water Park, which is suitable for all age groups and a famous free fall ride called Jumeriah Sceirah. We explored other famous attractions such as Burj al Arab, the World, Dubai Palm and Burj Dubai. But because of shortage of time, we were not able to explore the historic sites. Don't forget to check Dubai Weather before travel, it could get really hot there in summer.

So we wanted to experience and explore the historic sites of Dubai in this trip. As many And speaking the truth, I personally enjoyed the historic sites very much. We went to take a ride on abra. These are the small water taxis running in the famous Dubai Creek. This is the best means to explore the creek. Dubai Creek enjoys the most spectacular scenic beauty, which is worth capturing. We also saw the traditional mode of trading with using dhows. There is a small lagoon in the cr
    eek’s end.

The next destination was the Al Fahidi Fort which has lately been converted into the famous Dubai Museum. This museum displays the colorful painting and artifacts resembling the cultural mix of Dubai. We visited the Grand mosque at night and the view of the mosque was breathless. We also visited Dubai’s other destinations of historic importance.

We also spent time shopping there in the souks and also enjoyed the mesmerizing view of the beaches. The two popular beaches, Jumeirah beach and Palm Beach offer a relaxing and refreshing sun bath.

  • When to go Turkey for Holiday

When is the best time to spend holidays in Turkey? This is the question many holidaymakers are seeking answer to.
Spring is best, then next autumn, and then summer and then winter last. Let’s find out why.

    Spring
Spring season comprising of April, May till mid-June is the prime time to visit Turkey because, at this time the weather is uniformly moderate throughout the country. The duration of the day is long, and the tourist rush is yet to come. So, it is the best time to avoid the tourist crowd and also the mosquitoes. Though, rains can start in April there. The sea is mostly clean but after the rainfall can become murky near the sea-shore. Nature is also most glorious; wild rivers, snowy mountains. Yayla season is also about to begin. Many mountain festivals also take place during June.

    Summer
Summers beginning from mid-June till mid-September or the national holiday time has quite hot weather as compared to all the seasons in Turkey but the climate is pleasantly warm. The season is rainless and cool in the evenings. The average temperature is 26 degrees C. It is also the peak season in tourism so it is best to visit before or after this period.

    Autumn
Autumn season starting from mid-September and lasting till October is the second best time to go to Turkey. The days are bright, clear and shorter with mostly mild weather, not ideal for swimmers. Rain can come again in October.

    Winter
Winter season comprising of months of November to March is chilly and rainy in most parts of the country excluding the southeast. The prices are lower and tourists are less. Snowfall hinders the growth of tourism.

So plan your holidays in the season which best suit your needs and have a great time in Turkey.

  • Hisaronu Resort in Turkey

A visit to Hisaronu was my marvelous holiday pick. I loved my visit there. Hisaronu in Turkey is a small but very charming hill town which is at a very short distance from Turkey’s cost. This small town lately has become the best holiday resort because of the numerous restaurants, hotels, bars and shops that you will find almost every where in this town catering the need and requirements of tourists of all age group.

Reaching Hisaronu, the first thing that we did was to go on the Olu Deniz beach. It hardly took us ten minutes to reach the beach. There were many water activities offered on the beach such as parasailing, water skiing, scuba diving and many more. But I tried paragliding. I went up on Babadag Mountain, and from there I landed on the beach. It was a little scary, but was a wonderful experience. Then we went for a boat trip and clicked many pictures there.

Walking along the forest paths, in the Ghost town was another wonder activity. This town is uninhabited with over 3000 houses. Another very gorgeous beach in Hisaronu was The Blue Lagoon where we experienced the spectacular view of sun rising.

Holiday in Hisaronu is very cheap and people here are extremely helpful and very friendly. So we had no problem during our trip there. Instead, whenever I and my mother went out, there were people ready to help us. This destination is suitable for those who want a very relaxing vacation and also for adventure lovers.
